King, Merkel to talk Mideast issues

German Chancellor Angela Merkel was expected to visit Jordan on March 31 for talks with King Abdullah on Middle East issues. The two leaders were to discuss means to resume Palestinian-Israeli negotiations and efforts by Germany, the current president of the EU, to revive the peace process.
