Jordan Sends Aid to Victims of Earthquake

Amman, Dec. 30 (Petra)--Jordan sent aid to victims of the earthquake that struck countries of south east Asia in implementation of His Majesty King Abdullah's directives. Two planes, one from the Royal Air Force laden with 17 tons of relief aid and the other carrying 27 physicians and medical equipments left for the Maldives to help victims of the earthquake. The aid includes medical equipments, foodstuffs, tents, blankets and other equipments. The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) will also sent on Friday humanitarian aid to the peoples of Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand at a total cost of $420,000.
